Bliss

In a distance…

I hear the rolling beat of the drums

Charging towards me

Awakening my senses

As I stand in silence

Watching my breath

Awaiting the moment

it will

descend upon me

like a crack of thunder

shattering me into a thousand pieces

unveiling that drop

buried deep inside

the keeper of secrets

from a moment before time…
