Precious One

Acrylic on Canvas 3ft by 3ft

From Wisdom Passed on by our Elders,
We who plough the land know,
That, man is nothing without you,
You are our God , “O” Precious One,
You gave us life,
And we know you verily can take it back again.
‘O’ foolish man,
You who have gained much knowledge,
Where is your Wisdom of the ages……? !

Know you not that, he,
Who sustains us…
is slipping through our hands.
Hold on to the Precious One
For he may no longer
Take pity on us …
