Take me to the end of the world
Take me to the edge of madness
Take me anywhere but don’t let me linger
For in every moment death awaits me

This heart wrenching pain
Like a knife twisting
in an open wound
It bleeds tears

The breath of life
Warms the skin of my face
And nudges me to follow
Her scent

In the stillness
of the early morn
The breath of life
slowly releases itself
